The B&B is located in a quiet area of Athlone. Easy walking distance to the Centre. Many restaurants or pubs nearby. I can also recommend the local brewery Dead Centre Brewing. You can sit outside with river view. The bear tastes great. The hosts of the Riverdale House gave us many recommendations. Both are very friendly, open minded and helpful. Extremely nice people. The choice for breakfast is great and tastes extremely good. The whole place is lovely decorated and furnished. I wish we had planned a longer stay there. Parking on the spot.

The best thing was the manger, Mohammed. He made absolute certain that our trip was comfortable (including providing gluten-free bread-Thanks for that), he was there when we needed help with the door lock, and we found him to be profession, friendly, approachable. Not just an excellent worker, but an excellent human being. Everything else was good. The laundry machines were greatly appreciated.

Marie, the boss :-). Helped us with everything and made us feel at home. Kindness embodied. Extra spacious rooms. Bathroom very large. Common room with fridge/bar. Great breakfast. After an Irish breakfast Marie gave us her house-made scones for underway !
