Absolutely loved the views and even did a little painting from my window. Hillsides speckled with sheep and cows and the harbor filled with boats and a shipwreck. Marguerite is simply a lovely host and we enjoyed her breakfast.

Staying in Corthna Lodge was a pleasant surprise. Host is a very warm person, a nice room, on a nice location, very delicious and healthy breakfast. Just it was too short only one night. The rest was remarkable.

My daughter and I stayed with Marguerite overnight when we were in town and it was absolutely superb. I told my daughter is just amazing how ladies like this can keep such a perfect household. The breakfast was outstanding and Marguerite also has a wonderful selection of lace work which is available. The grounds of the house are likewise immaculate - everything is just perfect👍👍

Heir Island House is such a cool and unique place to stay! The hosts/owners are wonderful, and it's a real experience to take a ferry to this special little island with incredible natural beauty. Highly recommend!
