This is a very nice place, in a quiet area, with beautiful mountain views. You can see a part of the glacier from there too. The staff is very friendly, breakfast is abundent and good, and the coffee, tea and hot chocolate are avilable all through the day. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the center of Hofn where there are a few nice restaurants. I don't think there is a better place to stay in this area.

This place far exceeded our expectations. You enter your room directly from the outside so you never bother neighbours. The exterior wall is mostly glass with beautiful views. The room is very comfortable and the beds had to be the best in the trip, even the floor was comfortable! The bathroom was large and had everything. We didn't miss a thing! And the shared spaces are marvelous too, the dining room is very pleasant and well equipped, you have a kettle, coffee machine, toaster and microwave as well as dishes and cutlery. The woman who prepares breakfast (she arrived as we left) was very helpful and agreeable too. I only wish our stay had been longer!

Great hostel on the way of the Ring road. The room is clean and private bathroom, friendly staff at reception but it is important to keep in mind that the reception is open until the specified hours. Good road to the hostel. There is no kitchen but there is a coffee corner where you can make coffee or tea, brew something with boiling water, for this there are dishes and cutlery, a kettle. I needed a room for the night and price was good. Self checkin and free parking space was good. Room was really bigger than I expected. Everything was comfortable. Small gas station is next to the hotel.
