We had a wonderful stay at Nonnalena! The room is a bit small, but very comfortable and cozy for two. The bathroom was great, the air conditioning worked quietly, and we really enjoyed the snacks and drinks waiting for us in the fridge. The location is great, right next to the port, from where we had a boat trip the next morning! Milena is such a kind and welcoming host—she made sure everything was perfect during our stay. Thank you!

Ambience on arrival. Jazz playing softly in the beautiful, white,gleaming, sun drenched (was on the day we arrived) foyer.It was quite surreal actually and the perfect landing pad after a long drive. Cara Bentu's combination of advanced smart tech, style, lighting and taste, create a beautiful ambience that is also very comfortable, surrounded by mountain views. Location is very close to everything. Diago's attention to detail is next level and he took care of us like family, making sure we were ok and informed on everything every step of the way with where to go, what to do and see and the best places to eat. His friend Rafael arrived and also gave us a plethora of private boat tours and the best places to visit, beaches and best dining. Diago looks and dresses like he just stepped off the set of of an Italian James Bond film and when we were late and had lost our way,driving, to take a boat trip up the gulf with a private skipper he had organised, he appears out of nowhere (felt like we were shooting a scene in a Bond film) in his immaculately restored, 60's yellow Fiat Bambino, sweeps in, beeps and signals to follow him, saves the day and got us there on time. Beyond the fact that it felt like we were in a movie, what was most impressive is that Diago saw that we wouldn't have made it in time and went well out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. He designed the building himself which is beautiful inside and out and the rooms are stylish, very comfortable and have a beautiful ambience with beautiful views. We experienced a level of genuine care and Italian hospitality that was actually very moving. Sardinia is a great country to do a road trip in regardless but we feel like we now have an old friend in Tortoli and will return again largely because of Diago and the beautiful Cara Bentu. New and beautifully stylish hotel, close to main street facilities, but quiet. Rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed with local art and tasteful interiors. Bathroom facilities are clean, new and work well. We loved our stay here, it was well managed and the host was very responsive. Only 15 min from the main harbour for boat trips.

The guesthouse was the best we stayed in our whole time in Sardinia. It was really clean and modern with a choice of places to sit outside, the best being the roof terrace with views over the town to the mountains. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was varied and most enjoyable. Restaurants were a few minutes walk away. We felt very welcome. Our host Gianfranco gave us excellent suggestions on where to walk in the nearby mountains. We will definitely stay here again!

Everything was very clean, cosy and thoughtful. Alexander is an amazing host, carying about every little detail, that would help us stay more comfortable.
