This property was booked as a last minute break and we loved the property and the hosts. The property is a gem in the historic Basa area of Modica. The property has a communal sitting area and kitchen on the ground floor and upstairs are 2 ensuite bedrooms that can be booked as 1 property or as we did by the room. The cottage has the most beautiful small flower filled courtyard at the front and we spent lots of time sitting in this little area having a glass of wine and our morning coffee. We also ate dinner in the courtyard 1 evening. Our room was large spacious and comfortable with a little sitting area and a good size bathroom, The room overlooked the narrow alleys and the courtyard garden. There was plenty of storage in the room and the communal fridge downstairs also has separate areas labelled for each room. Dogs are welcome at this property. The kitchen has the basics that are needed to cook a meal. The property has Wi-Fi. Free parking is a 5 minute walk from the property as the property is in a narrow alley there is no direct car access. The property is a 3 minute walk from 2 supermarkets and other local shops and cafes. The property also comes with several other accommodation options that the host kindly showed us and would be a great place for a large family to stay. We are already planning to return to this fantastic property in the cooler months.

Great place to stay in Modica, couldn't recommend one better!! Gianpiero was an exceptional host. We had a small issue with the hot water, he took care of everything asap and didn't charge us for the breakfast plan. If we go back to Modica, we will stay in the same place, no doubt. Room was very very clean. Bed was big and very comfortable. Small Fridge and climatisation were available in the room. We were welcomed with some fresh lemon drink and sweets. Our hosts had a huge sense of hospitality and we really appreciated this stay after Syracuse visit. Parking was available in the property. Very nice garden. Fabulous breakfast with handmade food and delicious juice.
