The room was very well appointed in traditional style and has lovely views of the ancient town. The host was very warm, charming, friendly and accommodating. The location was an easy walk to town and also to a hiking track with views over the heart shape lake.

The location is stunning, the views over the Abruzzo mountains made you not want to leave the property! The room was spacious and comfortable for a family of four. The hosts were generous, warm and welcoming. The homemade breakfast, cakes and biscuits Stefania made each morning was delicious! It felt like a home away from home. Our children loved exploring the garden, Claudio and Stefania’s home was their favourite place on our Italy trip and we hope to come back one day. Grazie Mille!!

The place is very well located in downtown Sulmona. A typical construction with stone walls, clean and comfortable. The owner of the B&B was very nice and friendly at my arrival and gave me good advices about spots to visit near Sulmona. I’m very happy with my stay at “Il Viandante”.
