Starace House Primo Piano is located in the center of Vico Equense, very close to the train station on the Campania Express line. The location allows for convenient access to places such as Naples, Pompeii, and Sorrento. In the town, you will find many restaurants, cafes, and shops, and on Saturdays, there is a local market. The property is run by nuns who prepare a delicious daily breakfast served buffet-style in the dining room. For breakfast, you can enjoy Italian ham, cheese, homemade cake, croissants, homemade bread, coffee, tea, as well as fruits and yogurt. The rooms are cleaned daily. Hairdryers with Italian plug adapters are available at the reception. Quiet hours are observed from 10 PM, and each guest receives keys to the gate and the front door. The city tax is collected in cash. The Credit Agricole bank with an ATM is very close, located on Piazza Umberto I. You can park your car on the street, but on Saturdays, the nuns inform you to move it to a private courtyard to avoid fines from the police, as the local market takes place on nearby streets. I recommend choosing rooms with a garden view, if possible. Unfortunately, I had a room facing the street. The windows are not well soundproofed, and Italians ride scooters and honk late into the night, greeting each other and so on. It’s part of the Italian vibe, but you get used to it quickly.

Everything was perfect: the room was clean and we had the most beautiful view. The location is perfect: ~10 min walk to the train station and same distance to the beach. The breakfast was very good and aesthetic. We had a possibility to reserve garage and leave our rent car there. The mobility on the place is very good, so we didn’t used the car to get to Sorrento, Positano, Pompei… the train or fairy can bring you wherever you want in Campania. Anna, Rosanna, and their team are hands-on and go the extra mile for guests and we wish them lots of continued success with their B&B. We toured the Amalfi coast and Anna's tips saved us a lot of time and money. Breakfast was phenomenal... Fresh pastries, home-made omelettes, perfect coffee, and more! Views from the rooftop terrace are breathtaking. Room was super clean, comfortable, and spacious. Access to a private, secure parking area was included with our room rate. Location is amazing... 5-7 minutes' walk to the local train station (easy access to Napoli, Pompeii, and Sorrento) and a scenic walk to the local beach. In summary, wow, Wow, and WOW!!!

Beautiful hotel with an amazing bathroom. The hotel manager Alphonso was amazing! Funny, entertaining, and extremely helpful. He gives a lot of information, where to eat, where to visit, how to get there... Also, great location, ferry leaves right in front of hotel to Capri (not crazy crowed like from Naples or Sorrento). Shuttle bus will take you to trainstation of vico equense or a short walk to trainstation Seiano. By train, it's 11 minutes to Sorrento. The bathroom was so relaxing. Best water pressure ever, beautiful light shows in the shower, also best tasting water coming out of the fossets. Book this hotel even if it is to meet Alphonso😅 Ask him where to rent a vespa, where to eat,... Trust him, and enjoy.
