The traditional breakfast was awesome with local products and super tasty. The two showers were a nice touch. The bed was comfortable (especially super comfy comforter). The view was great. We came by car so I don't know about access otherwise.

I had an amazing stay in Sekishoin. There is such a special and peaceful atmosphere. All the people and monks were super nice to me and made me feel confortable adapting to my disability. The room was clean, big and with a beautiful view outside. The food was yummy. I want to give a special thanks to Yuto, one of the Buddhist monk. I had the chance to talk a lot with him. He was so kind, really nice to answer to all my questions and gave me a bit if his time. It was a privilege to meet him. Thank you to all of the people from Sekishoin. I left Koyasan with my heart full.

Our stay here was a highlight of our trip to Japan. We loved everything about it. The location was beautiful, charming, and authentic. The staff went above and beyond all expectations to ensure we had a great stay. There's no words to describe how lovely they were, and the level of customer service they provided. Our stay at Fuki Juku was undeniably a highlight of our trip to Japan! The charming hosts picked us up at the Hashimoto Train Station and drove the 30 minutes to their guesthouse, with a stop at a beautiful view for pictures. The pick up and drop off is included in their rate. We were fortunate in that our family of four were the only guests that night and we had the whole floor to ourselves. At 6:30pm the most amazing dinner was ready and presented artistically with a touch of folk art and nostalgia to create a memorable atmosphere. After dinner we had fireworks (sparklers) and then walked through the peaceful village. Breakfast was equally delightful and then they brought us to Koya for photos and dropped us off at the information centre in Koyasan. The service and hospitality was above and beyond and was a wonderful way to get started on our Kohechi Trail in Kumano Kodo!! This was a truly unique Japanese experience away from the tourist areas. We highly recommend it!
