The owner was so awesome - he brought me lunch 3 times and took me out for lunch once also ! On the day i was leaving he drove me to the train station about 1.5 ks every day he was humming some song . Once he played house of the rising sun which the place was named after very cool

I didn't expect it to be so but it was the BEST place I stayed during my 3 month trip to Japan. The owner is super friendly and helpful, same goes for the family members, I felt very welcome there, like a distant relative on vacation;) The breakfasts were delicious. The house itself is really beautiful, clean, and very close to the train station. It's very easy to get to all the Nara sightseeing spots. I cannot recommend this amazing place enough. If you hesitate - don't, you have found the best place to stay at around Nara:)

We had a wonderful time at the accommodation. The location is perfect (very central). Everything was clean and cozy, we had everything that we needed. I had a wonderful stay at this accommodation. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation has two rooms: a four-bed room and a twin room. I stayed in the four-bed room, and there was enough space for everyone. It was important to communicate regarding the use of the bathroom since there is only one shower and changing room, and a separate toilet with a sink. However, it was easy to coordinate with the other guests. If you're looking to experience a more authentic side of Japan, this accommodation is a great choice. It is located in a less touristy area. The Tenjimbashisuji Shopping Street with many food stalls is nearby. Highly recommended!
