This ground floor house is in a very quiet area next door to a Shrine about 12 mins walk south of Shirahama station on flat roads. The house is lovely - staying here is a beautiful way to experience modern Japanese living. Large bedroom for two people with comfortable futon beds. Living room plus lounge room and large kitchen. Laundry and bathroom are down one end and very private. The owner is a lovely man who was happy to pick us up upon arrival and show us around the house.

Great location and a very nice traditional Japanese home in the small town of Koza. The kind proprietor met us at the property. I recommend that you talk to the owner of the little tourist shop at the train station. He will rent you a bicycle and give you information about the area. Don't miss seeing Takinohai, which is a spectacular spot up river and easy to get to by local bus.

Great location with traditional rooms, the owner Ikeda san was very helpful to let my family feel very comfortable. We have received great advises for surrounding activities, I wish I had more time to explore the nature!!

We stayed here after hiking the Nakahechi route! Beautiful home stay with really lovely owners, thank you for your hospitality! Clean facilities and a common room kitchen space to utilise. Location is out of Kii Katsuura/Nachi. But you can catch bus, walk or hire the bikes from the information centre at the Kii Katsuura station!

3min walk from the JR station. Clean simplistic furnishings Muji style but has all the things needed, even a portable night lamp. Has only 2 exclusive rooms on the 3rd floor. 2nd floor is the bathroom and toilet, open pantry and relax chill corner. Ground floor is a co-working space. Family mart is 7 min walk away and the fish auction market was also within short walking distance. Place was quiet after 5pm but staff had recommended a good sushi restaurant that I enjoyed.

Noriko's breakfast deal was great. The place was so easy to find and did have panoramic views. The bedroom, lounge and bathrooms were large and luxurious. Wi fi reception was excellent. I've been to japan 4 times and this is the best place and value for money i've ever experienced. 11/10 :)

Such a wonderful place!! The hospitality, warmth and the heart which was put into every detail from Lacome was incredible. I really enjoyed my stay and would totally recommend it. I was able to have a dinner with the host and two guests in the shared kitchen which was so nice. I felt really welcomed!🫶
