The accommodation is located near the forest. I could enjoy sounds of falls and birds from the room. Norman and other staff were so kind and gave me warm hospitality. I feel the hotel was my home! Breakfast was delicious. I am vegetarian and fruits lover. The menu was well balanced, and I enjoyed it with the beautiful view. Mama Rose was really like a mom. I also love furniture, interior and designs of the building and rooms. So pretty!! Definitely whenever I come to Kenya, I will stay the Villa Rock! I already miss the place and staff as well as friendly dogs and cats!!

Just wrapped up my stay at United House Nairobi and I couldn't be happier with my choice! The location in the Gigiri diplomatic area felt incredibly safe, and the property itself is a lovely, peaceful villa surrounded by greenery – a real oasis. It was clear the place was recently renovated; everything felt fresh and well-maintained. My room was very comfortable, clean, and practical with a desk and a private bathroom (complete with slippers!). The free WiFi worked well. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the complimentary coffee, tea, and water available anytime, and the variety of board games for downtime. The breakfast was fantastic each morning – loved having options like pancakes, fruit, and a Full English. Beyond the great facilities, what really stood out was the welcoming atmosphere. They truly aim to create a 'home away from home' feel, and I felt very comfortable and at ease. Highly recommend United House for anyone visiting Nairobi, whether for tourism or business.

Hob House was charming. The house itself is tastefully decorated with beautiful African art. Our room was very clean. Also the ensuite bathroom which had excellent water pressure and.consistent hot water. There was a balcony off our room. It was shared with the adjacent room but we had it to ourselves and it overlooked the garden. The restaurant had indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of room. The English and Lebanese breakfasts were both delicious as were the Lebanese suppers. The waiters were able to explain the various dishes and the service was excellent. We were able to bring our own wine to the table and there was no corking fee. The gardens were lovely. A number of different brightly coloured trees were in bloom and there were many exotic flowers. Lots of spots to sit and enjoy the garden, observe the various bird and also smoothies, tea and cafe mocha. Luckily there was little humidity, sunny skies and soft breezes. The staff was friendly and helpful. The business manager Sheila promptly responded to emails before our arrival, advised us we could have a better room than the one we had booked, at the same price. And arranged for Charles to pick us up at the airport and to return us to the airport. This was a good idea as it was dark on both occasions and Hob House is on a back road on the western edge of the city and could be difficult for some drivers to find. We were able to leave our large suitcases at HH while we enjoyed a six day safari. When we arrived back on our last day to pick up our luggage and have a final supper before a late night flight Sheila provided us with a ground floor room with a bed and a bathroom with a shower to rest, freshen up and organize ourselves for the trip home. What more can I say. Fantastic experience in every way.

Dream Place was an ideal introduction to Nairobi. The staff, Jack and Yvonne, are very kind and helpful. The breakfasts on the terrace, with huge avacados from the garden, were a highlight. The property is within easy, and safe, walking distance to the UN and Village Market. The property was quiet and peaceful.
