GermanyIt was really a very special and unique experience to stay at Blue Monkey. Everything is simple but well thought through, so I wasn't missing anything. The solar panel allowed to keep the phone charged even though the place is not grid connected, showering with the bucket is no problem. Ismail is the most friendly and helpful host you could imagine. He showed me the village, helped organize a snorkel tour and had a lot to tell about the history of the place and the village. Wasini island is stunning with coral reefs, mangrove forests, dolphins swimming nearby. Overall, highly recommended!
