The hotel is close to many attractions (Kok Tobe cable car) and to many bus stop useful to get to the mountains. The hotel is fully new, and the rooms are big and confortable. The breakfast is complete and tastefull. The staff is amazing and speak English fluently. Totally recommended!

Almaty being quite a large city, I was pleasantly surprise to realise the accomodation was a stonethrow from a main artery where buses abound. You are only 20-25 min by bus from Sayran bus station. It is also well lit on the main avenue so it is quite safe at night. The staff was very nice and helpful. They have some English. The hotel presents itself a bit like a motel, with exterior staircase and landings. My room was a large double festuring a desk and chair, a microwave, a mini fridge. The bathroom was compact and clean. The hotel has been recently renovated and my room was very modern. You can leave your laundry at reception to wash and dry for a fee. A choice of restaurants nearby on Tole Bi street and a cheap and cheerful canteen up the street on the right for lunch make the location really handy.Also a supermarket on Tole Bi about 10 min away. Rooms have air con.

The location was great, it was a 20 minute walk to the Kok Tobe cable car and only a 25 minute drive to the airport in Almaty. The room was spacious and comfortable. They also offered a breakfast which was lovely. Our host was fantastic, very friendly and accommodating, despite the language barrier. He booked our taxi to the airport and also provided good recommendations for the local area, including sights and restaurants. We would highly recommend staying here on a visit.

Charming Place with Minor Flaws Sweet Garden is a lovely guesthouse with a lot of character. The warm atmosphere and nice decor make it feel more like a home than a hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Breakfasts were another strong point: homemade, hearty, and very satisfying thanks to Aliya. The location is also a big plus: quiet, yet within easy reach of the city center. That said, our room was a bit smaller than expected,. There was also some noise from neighboring rooms at night. But these were minor issues in an otherwise enjoyable stay. If you’re looking for a cozy, friendly place with heart this place is a great choice.

Very good quiet location with amazing views. Ability to cook own food, wash clothes without extra cost is very helpful. A bit of walking will give you great views of the mountains. During night you can see the whole city.

Everything about the place was excellent, the owner allowed us a very early check in and a late checkout without any hassles. The room was in a huge secure villa with a garden, had two balconies and was in a quiet location with public transport available nearby which connected you to the city sights.. There were restaurants and a supermarket too within walking distance. Very comfortable AC room with a TV and all toiletries, bed linen and towels provided. Everything was exceptionally clean. Drinking water was free of charge, they also provided an electric kettle and microwave for guests. A good sized lounge area was also provided near the bedroom for hanging out. I recommend this very strongly for visitors to Almaty, shall stay here when I visit Kazakhstan again.
