The huts were clean and stylish with an efficient AC, and the surroundings were beautiful. Furthermore, the host, Kan, was just amazing: he went to lenghts to make the customers happy - I even got to use a bicycle for free for the 3 days I stayed in the River. Huts. I had a wonderful stay in Nong Khiaw and can truly recommend the River Huts for everybody!

Perfect location, next to the bus station and only 5 minutes walking to main restaurants. The room was clean, big and very comfortable. The view is just amazing !Breakfast is a buffet with everything : fresh fruits, omelet, eggs, ham , sausages, fried rice , mango, coffee, tea and more. The owner is friendly.

Excellent stay 👍 spent 6 nights here, rooms are modern and very clean with a super comfortable big bed. We stayed in an upstairs room at the front of the property with nice views . Owners very friendly and helpful 😃 I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.

I booked this place very last minute, mostly because it was in a convenient location. I had no idea that I would have such a beautiful view! The balcony was amazing! Plus the room was clean and comfortable, and it is in a very nice location. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a great stay at Meexai guesthouse! Obviously you get what you pay for, it’s nothing fancy, but I have no complaints! Bed was clean, room was clean, AC worked great, soap/toilet paper/2 towels were provided. Couldn’t have asked for better:)

I had a big bed for myself, a clean private bathroom and a terrasse. It was a pretty place, quiet and perfect to get a good sleep before a trek.

Quite nice. Clean. Quiet. Nice view. Good locations to eat near by. We liked to organize our tours with NK Triger Tours. The owner is a character but a good one who exactly knows whats going on if you feed him with the right information. For example for us it was nice to go on a private little boat to Nong Khiaw. Staff is helpfull and very nice. We enjoyed our stay very much. Make sure to book in advance. A lot of people wanted to book over there but they were sold out the entire time.

Although the smog from burning season obscured our view it was still a beautiful setting, I can only imagine the views with a clear sky. It's perfect for chilling. The accommodation is not luxury but your floating on a river in northern Laos what do you expect. Its comfortable and clean. We where slightly hesitant about there being no aircon, but surprisingly once the sun goes down its quiet chilly so no aircon needed. During the day the fans are more than adequate. Staff are friendly and accommodating.
