Staying at this accommodation on the edge of the Sinharaja Rainforest was an unforgettable experience. Nestled in the middle of vast fields, the villa feels like an island surrounded by nature, offering the most breathtaking 360° views I have ever seen. The abundance of birdsong and sightings of wildlife right around the property made every moment magical.The warm hospitality stood out, especially the delicious home-cooked meals prepared by the host’s mother using fresh garden ingredients. Location beautiful. Tucked on a hillside overlooking the jungle. Quiet and peaceful. Our host, chanaka, was very helpful and enthusiastic. He was open for any adventure and hung out with us for a night of music, dancing, and laughs.

The location is idyllic, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty—it truly feels like stepping into a peaceful oasis. The rice and curry were delicious, with generous portions. What an experience. The room was beautiful and perfect for the three of us. The bathroom felt very luxury and the shower was very good. The family prepared a lovely dinner of curries for us which was one of the best curries we have had. The breakfast was also lovely and we all left very full of food. The rainforest tour was amazing and swimming under a waterfall was a real highlight. This trip is a must

Very comfy room. Good WiFi which is rare in Sri Lanka. Host is a forest guide so he can set the tour up for you including pick up and drop off. Breakfast is a good size.Tuk Tuk from Deniyaya bus station 2000 LKR

I had an amazing time her, Bandula the owner and the guide tok me on a very nice hike thru the rainforest an he does everything he can do to make sure you have a good time. after the hike you get very good food from he’s wife and very good service from he’s son. This is the place to go if you want a good experience in this rainforest area.

Sinharaja Forest Edge is situated right on the edge of the UNESCO site Sinharaja Rain Forest. The property offers complimentary transportation to the rain forest from Mederipitiya Village.

Staying here was an amazing experience! It is right by the forest so the views are one of a kind. Staff are very friendly. This accomodation also offered a guided trek in the forest, which included lunch and leech socks.
