Amazing experience! Location is perfect for people who like to have an affordable and quite place for themselves in paradise. You will have your own beach and your own restaurant with mostly traditional food. Accomodation is basic but cosy, clean and comfortable. Room is spacious with nice bed, very good AC, cattle and fridge. Huge window with romantic sea view and bathroom is big and clean. Restaurant will serve you delicious breakfast, excellent fresh juices (ask for local kirala-mangrove apple with young cocconut), cold refreshments and tasty meals made with local veggies, sea food, chicken or pork. Place is run by local youth, so you might get a beach volleyball game with boys who will also help you to go around, rent a scooter, teach some sinhala. There is top ayurvedic center in close vicinity. Highly recommended!

Had a really lovely , quiet 4 night stay here. The family are lovely , the lady is a great cook ,( we are vegetarian)massive breakfasts!) I'd hurt my wrist prior to arrival and they helped with that too, a bandage and assistance from their neighbour( thanks moyra) They are kind and honest people . Garden is nice for hanging out in too, with birds, chipmunks and a resident ginger mongoose ! .beach is just 5 min walk away ( go through at sea view restaurant) Nice comfy bed with Airton and a fan. Thank you Vivienne and Sara England

I travel to Sri Lanka very often because it is my favourite destination, and this is my first visit to Villa Sidu. For me without doubt one of the best places that I have ever stayed in Sri Lanka. In Villa Sidu you are guaranteed the best Sri Lankan hospitality. It is owned and run by Himali, her husband Janaka, and also supported by daughter and son. It is a family orientated place to relax and enjoy. This family go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and enjoy. Always willing to help and guide you to enjoy the surroundings. This accommodation is in Induruwa, and it is a peaceful village between the busy tourist hotspots Bentota and Hikkaduwa. Beautiful spacious, clean rooms with a balcony if you are on a top floor. There are AC rooms and well as non AC. Breakfast is also included, it is one of the finest breakfast to enjoy. If you like why not speak to Himali or Janaka and enjoy Sri Lanka’s tasty rice and curry. Don’t take my word, just try it. If you are looking for the Indian Ocean, look not far, it is just meters away from Villa Sidu. We like Villa Sidu so much, after an exhausting tour round Sri Lanka, we came back to Villa Sidu to enjoy and relax. We take this opportunity to thank Himali, Janaka and family for making our holiday comfortable than we expected. In our opinion Villa Sidu is a hidden Gem in Sri Lanka. Villa Sidu is not expensive at all.

What a find, such a lovely family such a warm and friendly welcome. Vish took us on a sight seeing trip to so many places he is an amazing guy so chilled and knowledgeable about the area food at the hotel was amazing. Definitely worth a visit and if you can get a tour with Vish take one.

So far the best accommodation we have had in Sri Lanka. Incredibly nice hosts, willing to help you with anything. They even did our laundry. No noise can be heard from outside, the bed is equipped with mosquito nets, which we greatly appreciated. In addition, it looks beautiful and the mattress is comfortable. The room is equipped with air conditioning. The equipment of the villa is new and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast was rich, we received several salty and sweet dishes, as well as fruit, tea and fruit juice. We would definitely like to come back again and warmly recommend this accommodation.

Jaya is the most welcoming and nice host you can imagine. Room was clean and had a nice terrace, breakfast was excellent. Jaya and his family have great hospitality skills, every need is met and anything can be organized if needed. There is a little shop just outside of the guesthouse and it is really close to the beach. A little paradise in the jungle, looking forward to return some day!

    Great location right next to a beautiful beach. Nearby there are shops, restaurants and transport. Nice owner, very helpful and friendly. He organized transport for us to Colombo. He cared very much about the guests. Always ready to help. We felt very good there.
