We've accommodated in hotel sanctuary last week. It was very clean and attractive.The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and well organized.The pool area was fantastic, to have fun.The hotel keeper was very friendly and helpful.The hotel owner was the same. The meals were really delicious.We could enjoy the scenic beauty of rakwana mountains right from the hotel.That accomodation package was very reasonable for the payed price.I recommend this place for people, who are expecting a perfect stay near Rakwana.

What a magical place between the rice fields. The room is cozy and comfortable. We booked a tour with the host for a very fair price! We thoroughly enjoyed our jungle tour with him, including a packed lunch. The breakfast and dinner were also always delicious! Definitely recommend staying here! Thank you for our wonderful stay.

Such a wonderful experience! We stayed for one night at this magical place and it was perfect. It’s a cozy and clean wood house in the middle of a rainforest. Through the big window you can watch the rainforest life while you’re laying in the bed. The owner is such a friendly guy and is very dedicated to making the stay as pleasant as possible. The typical Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious! Highly recommended.

The location is idyllic, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty—it truly feels like stepping into a peaceful oasis. The rice and curry were delicious, with generous portions. Great location, little bit far from the center, but it's quite and surrounded by nature, great opportunity for walk. Room was big enough, comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious, one day the cook prepared a breakfast package as we went out early for a tour to Sinharaja. Also recommend having a dinner, because they were delicious! If you are interested in Sinharaja Tour, the owner can give you a contact to Danu, who was a great guide, very knowledgeable, great communication with him,highly recommend. The owner is also very nice, we had a really good conversations.

Our stay at the Rainforest River Bay was amazing! The family is really nice and helped us with everything. The food and tea was exceptional. We did a tour through the rainforest with Kasun (the owner of the guesthouse). He has a huge knowledge about the forest, its plants and animals. Thank you for the lovely weekend we really enjoyed it!!

The property was located in outskirts of Sinharaja Rainforest, which is a great surrounding. The owner, Sarath, was specifically helpful with everything and his kind wife provided us with hot water for our 4 months old puppy.
