Our stay in La Maison-Berbère was just magical. The host is beyond helpful and happy to assist you with all your needs. Meals are hefty, homemade and simply delicious. One can choose to sleep either in the room or under the stars on the mattresses taken out upon request. There's ice cold water and fresh fruit available at all times. We also learnt a new card game and could play with the host's kitties. We can strongly recommend the Sahara trip, which in 2025 cost 100 euro per person. The driver, with whom the owner cooperates, is so skilled he should compete in the Dakar rally. During the trip we were taken deep into the Sahara desert, where we spent the night smoking hookah, eating tajine and drinking Moroccan tea. Our stay exceeded our expectations and left a lasting impression.

We had a wonderful stay at Dar Sidi, soo comfortable rooms and bathrooms. The chillout places and environment was super beautiful. Davod and his lovely family was also very friendly and soo nice to get to know, we felt at home and would love to stay there again. Everything was perfect really. Thank you!

Don't be fooled by the front. Once you step inside it's a completely different world then outside. Very nice place with a feel of home about it. Everyone is super nice and easy going, rooms are not large but neither are very small (we had some very small rooms on our trip), nicely furbished with a cute en suite bathroom (the first shower we really liked), bed was small but quite soft, very comfy. There is a large sitting area in front of the rooms and a cute little patio where we had breakfast and you can also have dinner if you choose to. I had some indigestion problems and they took such great care of me. My compliments.

Lovely new riad in mhamid. The owner is very kind with faultless service, we ate delicious food and enjoyed the roof terrace at night. Bedroom and bathroom were lovely- spacious and very clean. Fantastic stay, would recommend

Ali is amazing. He taught us lots about the nomad culture, and the facility was very clean. He's an amazing chef and even got up at 5:30am to cook us breakfast when we had an early bus to catch. He even gave us a ride to the bus station. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, would highly recommend staying here!!

Absolutely brilliant desert experience, so quiet and peaceful. Awe inspiring. Sand dunes right in front of the riad. Great service. Easy pick up on arrival. Can drive it in a 2wd car. Lovely big breakfast. Looking at the stars by night around the fire. It's about 20 minute walk into town. A great find. THANKS Boujmaa for your service and hospitality.

Located at the edge of M'Hamid Village, you get a stunning panoramic view of the Sahara Desert. The restaurant has traditional interiors with breathtaking views of the desert. The peacefulness of the place is a huge bonus, especially compared to the busier parts of town. It's quiet, away from the market noise and the construction in the center. You can take a walk or a short hike to the nearby sand dunes, surrounded by palm trees and the old village ruins. It’s a perfect spot for those looking for something more off-the-beaten-path, and less touristy. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic, serene desert experience.

It’s a cool place if you don’t have time to see the big sand dunes in Erg Chegaga. The host are super friendly and that made the whole experience the best! Lovely tajine and some good coffee!
