Beautiful accommodation with an outstanding garden, wonderful beach nearby, very friendly and helpful staff, great food! We had a lot of nice hotels in Madagaskar, but this was my favourite. Unfortunately we stayed only one night, but if we would plan again we would definitely stay longer! Great place to relax from a round-trip.

We had an excellent stay at Remo e Berenice. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly, and always willing to help with anything we needed. This place is amazing. From the moment you arrive on the boat is a whole experience. Gerard the owner and the rest of the staff are super friendly. Great food from the restaurant and good prices (many vegetarian and vegan options available very yummy and homemade). The view and facilities from the hotel are great, the garden amazingly well maintained and trees with lemurs around. Big rooms and very clean. Definitely recommended. Ps. Price for the boat to get there is extra 13 euros roundtrip per person.

It was clean and in a convenient spot in town. Staff were great and helpful, and the dinner / brekky was prompt. The wifi was also really good and it was just the exact type of stay I hoped for.

Giannie, the host, was incredible. She took great care of us during our stay and then went above and beyond afterwards. We had mistakenly packed a couple of their towels which she came to collect from the next hotel we stayed at. She organized an airport transfer at a much better rate than our next hotel offered. When our next hotel couldn't arrange a babysitter she found one. And, lastly, when our son left his small suitcase in the taxi that we took to the airport, she arranged to get it back and hold it at Villa Vintana until we returned again. Gracious and cheerful from start to finish. The common areas are limited, but they make the best of them--some board games, games for the kids, TV and lounge area. And they organized tours at a much better rate than other hotels. Food and drink prices were also better value than other restaurants or hotels we went to.

The staff are outgoing and helpful. Trips can be discussed and tailored on the spot, and pick-up from the airport is reliable in spite of delayed flights. The place to stay for a week or more.

Great accomodation, very friendly and helpful staff, always with a big smile!, clean rooms (even special efforts on making up the bed!), nice view over the valley, top location: quiet neighbourhood although still close to the main road and village. Staff helped with any questions asked. Pool at the top is a real asset to relax. Loved the colourful paintings on the walls! Felt really welcome to stay here, and it was a pleasure!
