De Achterdiek is by far the best Bed & Breakfast I have ever stayed at! The rooms are spacious and cozy, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you might need. The owners are lovely and super welcoming, they gave us a tour of everything right upon arrival and made us feel right at home. The place is idyllic and quiet, and there are a lot of adorable animals around the home. You definitely have to try the breakfast - it's incredibly delicious and offers everything from coffee and juice to eggs and a variety of bread. Everything is made with love and you can tell that they put a lot of effort in every detail. Everything is perfect and it will make you want to stay as long as possible. Thank you for having us, we loved to stay with you and will definitely come back!

Communication was very easy. I arrived earlier the initially planned. When I realised it, I called and it was not a problem at all for the host. Very warm welcome. The room (actually more accurately in the studio) has its own coffe machine (Nespresso System) and tea maker which both worked like a charm. The mattrass was very comfortable... I slept like a stone and woke up rested. The breakfast was served in the room and had a great selection. I absolutely try to book again when I will be in this area. Thank you very much for this experience.

The pod was situated with a garden view near the river. The birdsong in a morning is phenomenal! The pod is enchanting, it smells of new wood and is very cosy. My hosts were amazing people, very friendly and they’ve put a lot of thought and effort into making the pod warm, comfortable and welcoming. I slept very well thanks to the comfortable bed, peaceful location and the beautiful surroundings. Breakfast was just what you need on holiday - warm bread rolls, fresh ham and cheese, egg, yogurt and fruit. Everything was perfect. In fact, this is the perfect pod!

I had a wonderful stay in Ineke's garden huis. Was cute and cozy. Had everything I needed. I was in Hoogeveen for a competition and this was my little Oasis to prepare for it in completely peace and quiet. The night I arrived it was super stormy and raining and the garden house remained warm and dry. Was also a convenient quick 15 min walk into town. Bed was comfortable, shower was great and kitchen had the equipment I needed. Ineke was super flexible with my plans as they were in a bit of a flux. She also served a delicious breakfast which was hotel quality, everything I needed! Ineke thank you for the wonderful stay!

We had an incredible time at this hotel during our trip to the Netherlands! The hosts were absolutely wonderful, going out of their way to make us feel at home. They welcomed us with a delicious homemade almond pie and a complimentary bottle of wine. The house and rooms were gorgeous, exceptionally clean, and filled with charming interior details. The breakfast is excellent! Overall, this is a place you definitely don't want to miss.
