They have a little forest with a river running in the property and it feels like a magical forest - loved walking through it !! Welcome drinks was an unexpected delight to meet other people staying in the property. The house is decorated in a wonderful antique style with loads of history behind every item. The breakfast was exceptional in a wonderful "Downton Abbey" style. The hosts were most welcoming and accommodating making our stay enjoyable , relaxing, educational, and great fun.

The bedroom was very spacious with a view of the lake, and the outdoor area was beautiful having been recently landscaped. Having the use of a swimming pool was a real treat, especially in such amazing surroundings and with a fantastic view of the lake. We were welcomed by our host Asher who was very helpful and provided with a very nice breakfast.

We absolutely loved our three night stay at this beautiful historic home in it's gorgeous garden setting. We were warmly welcomed by Sabine who was an exceptional hostess. Our room had a harbour view and rhe breakfasts were outstanding, with a wide array of local produce. The location was an easy walk to the bay, cafes and restaurants.
