What a gem of a find. It is like stepping back in time when you enter this home. Julie is amazing host and her puppies and kitty are super friendly. The gardens you could spend all day in enjoying all the flowers, birds and bees. Close to all the great restaurants and not far from the city centre. Bed is super comfortable and breakfast was delicious.

Joy and Norman are such wonderful hosts, and their house is absolutely beautiful. They are incredibly welcoming. The place is super clean and cozy, and we loved all the thoughtful details. For us, it was even better than staying in a 5-star hotel. It was a fantastic stay between Kaikoura and Lake Tekapo. We loved it!

The welcome was lovely, we had a complimentary glass of wine with guests which was a very nice touch. The whole house has character, the rooms were big, the dining room was huge, stunning house, dumb waiter available to bring luggage upstairs, never seen that in a house before and this was very helpful. All staff were most helpful, parking excellent, location superb - we were so happy we stayed here.
