FranceThe room had an amazing view on the sunrise and the lake. The hosts were super helpful and they prepared us a very good dinner and breakfast. Would really recommend to spend a night in taquile and stay at Mario and Julia.

United KingdomThe most amazing little homestay on the most perfect island Taquile. Celso and his family were so welcoming, helping us with our bags, drawing a map of the island for us….. the meals were delicious, rooms were comfy. Very cold, so bring layers, and be prepared about 1K uphill to the home. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Charming room with comfortable beds and tons of warm blankets. Delicious food- especially the soups. Celso and his wife were lovely and welcoming and generous with their time. We liked the cats too.

Very warm welcome from Juana and Celso. Nice and cosy place to stay and chill. Celso will guide you to the best spots of taquile island from Pachamama temple, inca ruins, best sunset spot, to playa. They are great host with big heart. I truly recommend staying with them. They will tell you everything about island history, tradition, and more!
Just remember not taking all your luggage with you ...cause the island is hilly and the hike can be a bit challenging with heavy bags.
