The Location is a dream - in the midst of the vineyards and in the heart of the Douro region. Quiet and remote. It has a beautiful pool in a garden and a fridge full of amazing wines from the estate Churchills. The team is wonderful and very considerate.

This is an absolutely superb spot overlooking the Douro! It is perfectly secluded and quiet. The host looked after us very well and made us feel welcome and at home. We highly recommend this destination.

The views from every room over the Douro Valley are spectacular, makes you want to just curl up in a chair and sit and stare at it. Excellent breakfast - lots of fresh fruits, yogurt, meat, cheese, bread to choose from and delicious hot coffee. Maarten is a generous and engaging host and happy to share his insights on wines and winemaking. He makes the stay in the Valley so much more interesting. Easy driving access to lots of wineries.

The Quinta is a very special place. Evoking its own history in an ancient landscape, it charms you. Wonderful staff, a sense of home and yet the luxury of a thoughtfully curated boutique hotel.
