Everything was absolutely fabulous. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean. The linen and towels were excellent. The location is great, being a short walk from the station. The service was outstanding!!!! We were taken care of in an amazing way. The dinner at the hotel was delicious (higher price level but worth it). The views were incredible! The huge windows provide views that take your breath away. There is a possibility to pick a bottle of wine and write it on a list, you pay at the check out. Large bathroom with natural light. Very peaceful but still close to Pinhao. It took us 40 min to hike down and we paid 10€ for a taxi back. Comfortable sunchairs. Delicious breakfast served at the table. Very small so not many guests to share this adorable property with.

The family that takes care of the casa is so nice! They had stocked the pantry with all the essentials and more. Fresh oranges to make juice, hams cheeses, etc. I also loved the breakfast basket in the morning. So thoughtful. The room is big, plenty of space to be comfortable. If I go back to the Douro valley one day, that's where I want to stay.

Excellent position in a lovely renovated village 10 minutes from the River Douro. The extra touches provided by the owner were very thought out. Easy parking. Two good restaurants in the next village provided by the owner. Also an Olympic swimming pool in the next village. There must be money in the town!!!
