United StatesEnjoyed the tranquil setting of Monte Anna in comfortable friendly accommodations. It is literally off the beaten track, and requires a car. We traveled there by taxi, which wasn't difficult to do at all. We also brought out own food and enjoyed dinner outside gazing out at the countryside under the stars. Highly recommend if you would like some peace and quiet in the country. The hosts are wonderful!

Beautiful property : nice room with private bathroom , very friendly hosts, who cannot do enough to help you .
Lovely pool ( though quite shallow at one end ) .
Maybe a barbecue in front of the guest area might be a good idea, but the bbq area was still lovely .

The location was fantastic as indeed was the room and excellent kitchen and sitting room. The hosts were very welcoming and a real pleasure to meet and talk to and very knowledgeable of the area.
Close to nature and wonderful peace and quiet. I think in the summer the pool will make it even more complete.
