The staff, the location, the design, the quality of everything was exceptional. The service level and professionalism of Sana and her team as in Ons, Jihen and all the other staff is one of the highest we have experienced. And the little special gestures and nuances made it even more special such as arranging a surprise birthday cake for my partner as well as gifting her a book which she enjoyed during our stay just topped it all. Dar Kbira is a serene and stunning escape from the bustling streets of Sidi Bou Saïd. The property has been renovated to a high and beautiful standard by Selima & her husband. The breakfast in particular was delicious, varied each day we stayed and could be enjoyed in the central courtyard or on the sunny terrace. The service was exemplary and the bed was extremely comfortable. We would love to come back :)

This place is a gem. The staff are wonderful and very welcoming. I was even late for breakfast by half an hour one day and the owner offered to make me some food with a smile on his face. Apart from the welcoming vibe, the place feels like a peaceful oasis amidst the bustle of La Marsa that awaits when you step outside of the premises. I was most taken back by the open plan kitchen/lounge area where breakfast is served which feels Tunisian with a bit of a modern twist. A really thought out interior where you can feel the attention to detail. Anyway I could carry on for a while but I loved this place. The people and the simple and tasty breakfasts make it all the worth while. Local shops are also very close by if you need to get cash, a phone card or grab a bite, nearest beach is a 5/10 minute walk. Thank you Dar El Kif, wish you all the best!

Great location, very friendly staff and amazing breakfast. Very pretty rooms, easy to keep cool. The house itself is super nice as well and you have an amazing view from the roof. I could leave my luggage on the day I checked out, which was super good as well.

Very beautiful place, great terrace with a pool on the roof which felt completely private! Beautiful views both from the terrace and our room. Tasty breakfast included served by friendly staff. Great location in the city center.

Quaint little hotel in a quiet alley minutes from the main street. Lovely courtyard where they served breakfast, which was beautiful. Breads, jams, and delicious juices. Nice staff who happily help if needed. Rooms and bathrooms are very small but if your only sleeping there then shouldn't be an issue.
