Very good location, clean and comfortable rooms. The family that runs the hotel is really nice and welcoming. They helped us a lot with advices and organized a tours for us. One really important thing - they speak english very well. If I return someday I would stay at this place once again

The location could not be better for a couple of days in Ho Chi Minh. Very comfortable bed, quiet location, great breakfast but most worth mentioned is the fantastic staff. Moon, Lee and the team made my stay to the greatest. They were available at on site and on WhatsUp 24/7, always there to give honest and great local travel tips, this made me feel safe as a solo traveler. Without asking they upgraded my room and when I checked out 3 am due to an night bus they had prepared a take away breakfast for me. Could not give Jan Hostel any other rating than 10/10!

The host was incredibly nice and helpful and she made our stay so much better! This is a tiny hotel with no restaurant, yet they serve a very nice breakfast - a plate of delicious fruit, plus a dish of your choice. The location of the place is also incredible - right in the center of District 1.
