This was the perfect place to experience Theth, a great location away from the busier centre but still walkable. Amazing hospitality and the food was some of the best I’ve had in Europe (there’s also a lot of it). I wish I could have stayed an entire week. Amazing view from the balcony, bed was cosy.

Staying at Theth Guesthouse Freskia felt like stepping into another world, surrounded by breathtaking mountains in every direction. The guesthouse is just a short 7-minute drive from the main valley, perfectly located for all the famous hikes in the area. Breakfast was wonderful, full of homemade ingredients, and their petulas were hands down the best we had in all of Albania. The family running the place are incredibly kind and welcoming, and their hospitality made our stay special. They also serve dinner for 13 euros per person, which is a fantastic deal for Theth, plenty of traditional dishes, all delicious. Our room was a bit cold at night, but they gave us extra duvets that kept us perfectly warm and cozy. We truly loved our stay here. It’s a peaceful, authentic mountain experience, support this lovely family business!
