The feeling of the whole place is great. We stayed two nights in the family room with our 2.5 and 5 year olds who had the best time in the bunk beds. The rooms are basic but have everything you need for a family of four. We ended up wishing we would have stayed another night. Our girls absolutely loved all the animal feeding, walking with the geese (thanks, Vittoria!), the play areas, making friends with other kids and of course the food. The FOOD deserves a separate review as it's just an amazing experience. The dinners are plentiful and simply delicious. The only problem is that you just keep eating :) Everything is locally produced or sourced and you notice the freshness. The mushrooms, blueberry pasta (I know, we were equally surprised!) , baby goat, cheese, fruits and their home made bread and jams really stood out for us. Their locally produced wine is also a great option to combine with the food. Breakfast was also great and our kids especially liked this as it included eggs in many ways, pancake/donuts and great yogurt with local fruits. We'd love to be back some day and would highly recommend you go out of your way to visit this magical place!
