The guesthouse is in a beautiful location, with vineyards, wineries and spectacular views from the hilltops. There are several nice towns in the area, but Maribor is also close. Our room was comfortable, very clean, and had a balcony. The great breakfast deserves a special mention, of a quality that is not common in larger hotels even. Hilde is very kind host and was extremely helpful when we had a minor accident. Thank you for everything afterwards.

Ehrenhausen is an absolutely delightful small town with a beautiful church and mauseleum. Our room looked over the church which was beautifully illuminated at night. It was in the middle of what is a small and charming town and short walking distance from a local restaurant. Plenty of free public parking behind the hotel. Good bathroom and decent sized bedroom. Good breakfast and very good value for money. I would definitely return - this little town is way nicer than any others we saw in the area.

It was obviously newly refurbished - everything looked brand new. Our room overlooked a street, but it was still very quiet (other than the church bells!). The bed was very comfortable. We were there for two nights and breakfast was at a different location each morning. The first morning it was half a block away at a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and a great selection of cold breakfast items (e.g., cheeses, meats, bread, pastries, yogurt, fruit, juice, etc.) and a good quality coffee machine and selection of teas). The next morning was about a five minute walk up to the castle - beautiful! Both indoor and outdoor seating available and the same selection of food and drink, with the addition of scrambled eggs and crispy bacon.

Loved the hotel, very helpful and friendly staff, we were very grateful for the possibility of a early check-in. Pretty basic, not really spacious room, but comfortable, quiet, neat.

We visited Gamlitz because of a bike tour, and we choosed this accomodation because of its great location. The room was clean, the mattress was comfortable and rhe host always answerd in couple of hours.

The staff was super welcoming, nice, available, and flexible. The location is simply breathtaking. The breakfast was abundant and delicious. I cannot stress enough how nice the staff was. They tried to suit our requests even if there was a bit of chaos at our arrival and things were not prepared 100%.
