Close to a lot of popular attractions. It is a family run business and we felt very welcome. The hostess is knowledgeable about the restaurants and mountains in the area. Great location, great breakfast, great hospitality.

It is located 500 metres from Museum Aschenbrenner and provides a housekeeping service. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Confortable and cozy place, decorated in the old Bavarian style. Very friendly stuff. Great breakfast, big variety. Close by to the Garmisch-Patenkirchen center. I felt at my home in this Gastehaus. If I have a chance to visit Garmisch-Patenkirchen again in the future, I would definatelly look for a room at this place again.

Breakfast is laid out in the morning outside the room for you to help yourself. With the tax you pay the owner gives you a travel pass to use in the area. We went on the cable car to Zugspitz which was wonderful and caught the bus just down the road. Had 2 meals at Dorfbrunnen hotel (which gives massive potions!) which is 5 minutes in the car (a bit too far to walk). Would highly recommend a stay here.
