The room was great, with little luxuries here and there, a fantastic butler pantry and a beautiful, tranquil view. The bathroom was just a delight (so much our friends took photos for their own reno). Have to come back to try that standalone bathtub! The included breakfast is amazing! There is a menu to choose from and the food is divine. We had the shakshuka, pain perdu, Vietnamese eggs, babkas... all could rival a 5 start restaurant. Wendy and Martin are fantastic hosts and definitely make you feel welcomed. Oh we also loved the paddle boat and trips around the lagoon!

Location was fabulous and the efforts made by Amber to ensure our getaway was one to remember, were superlative. Definitely going back.

It’s for those who love to stay in nature. So many types of birds around on the porch or on the diverse garden plants and trees. Beautiful songs they sing. It’s on top of a hill overlooking farms and other wild hills and, on the other side, also on the town in the distance. At night the starts look at you from up close. There’s no light noise at all there. Moonrise, sunrise and sunsets are amazing! The host is super nice and interesting. Worth taking the time to befriend her. I saw my first Kangaroos from the yard, grazing and then jumping over a fence. It’s totally safe on this farm house. The house and room are well and creatively designed by the host. Super cool place!

The house was clean and well-appointed, with two bedrooms, a good A/C system, and all of the appliances one would want for an extended stay... my stay was only overnight. The kitchen was stocked with the necessaries to prepare a continental breakfast, a bit more like an "AirBnB" type property than a traditional B&B, where a full breakfast is the norm. However, the loaf of bread, juice, the coffee and tea fixings, a couple of choices of jam and a fresh bottle of full cream milk and large new container of butter were exactly what I was hoping for (along with the Vegemite!).
