With at least 28 m² in size, the rooms at BnB Chalet Gafri are very spacious. They come with elegant stone floors with underfloor heating, a seating area, a safe and a refrigerator. Each unit also have a private bathroom with a shower and provided with a hairdryer and a make-up mirror. Comfortable, spacious, very clean room. Gabi and Fritz are super nice and helpful hosts. Great location, close to the train station, at the same time very calm and beautiful, the only "noise" comes from the river nearby. It's so much better than the crowded Interlaken where we stayed 1 year earlier. Good breakfast with local products. And we got a small gift for our child! If you want to stay in this area, it's going to be hard to find a better place.

The little Bernese Oberland village of Habkern lies in in a wind-protected and fog-free valley, off the beaten tourist track. Everything! The proprietors, our room, the food, Gary the hostess (fantastic!!), the church bells and the views of the Alps were all incredible! The bakery, grocery store across the street was fabulous when opened. It was not opened everyday. This was a true swiss Alps village away from the city and on a vast beautiful mountain range with cows, and horses and beautiful chalets and the people! It was about 20 minutes down a windy road into Interlarken. Perfect location. We had a car but used the bus pass that the hotel gave us which was extremely helpful. We give this place a 15 out of 10 stars. It was just perfect in every way for a small village. Highly recommended
