We really enjoyed our stay at this hostel. The kitchen was great, and there were several common areas, all of them really nice and well set up. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were there a bit off-season, so the hostel wasn’t very busy — it almost felt like we had the place to ourselves, which was awesome. We also really appreciated the fridge and pantry system, where each guest gets their own shelf and cupboard. Super practical. Overall, it was a great place and we definitely recommend it. That said, there were two downsides. First, the hot water in the shower wasn’t always reliable. And second — this was the big one for us — there was no top sheet on the bed. Just a blanket. Which raises the question: do they even wash those between guests? Probably not. So yeah, not great in terms of hygiene. Plus, it was a bit warm at night, and having a sheet would’ve made a big difference. Honestly, a top sheet should be standard. That part really bugged us.

The location is excellent. It's only one block away from the lakeshore and you could view the beautiful volcano from there. It's very convenient to walk down to the shore to enjoy the view but away from all the noise. 3 blocks away from the town center and you have many restaurants to choose from. I felt hit jackpot when I got there. 😀
