He provided us with great recommendations for daily trips around the island, what to visit, how to get there, popular highlights and germs off the beaten track. His effort was just amazing. We enjoyed our stay here very much. During 8 months of travels this was one of the best hostels we stayed at, and we would come back to the place at any time.

All units in the guest house are equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and with cable channels. Any was an excellent host who went out of her way to make sure we had a lovely stay. The cabin was very clean and comfortable.

Beautiful comfortable room, fantastic view, incredible breakfast. And the hosts are just incredible people! It was just delightful to visit with them over breakfast. They gave us great recommendations. We have been in Chile for over a month and this is my favorite stay!

Hostal La Minga is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Chaitén, where guests can make the most of its private beach area and garden. A lovely secluded place that is a short drive out of Chaiten. Klaus and his wife seem to be quite conscious about sustainability. Many items at breakfast and dinner were homemade which was delicious. I was in a twin room at the back of the house which was comfortable.

The units are equipped with heating facilities. The owner was very friendly. She let me store food in her personal fridge. She let me cook breakfast in her kitchen. The property has city and inner courtyard views. The guest house features family rooms. The location was amazing. Literally like 1 minute to the coast from the hostel(walking) and only a few blocks from the artisanal market and to the towns’ busy area. The house was decorated beautifully and was very spacious. The host Raúl was very intelligent, well mannered, and informative. Though, I didn’t use it, he offers tours in his Hostel (penguins, the town, etc). Very good communication with him and he recommended us good places to eat and where to visit within Ancud and where to go afterwards. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was perfect. Private parking available upon request. Central AC in the house, so we slept nice and warm.
