Above all, the Refugio concept — which includes a beautiful café and a cozy bar offering excellent food and drinks — truly exceeded our expectations. Unlike at other accommodations, we didn't have to eat Gallo Pinto for breakfast every day, but could instead choose from a wide variety of delicious brunch options directly from the restaurant/bar. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed — from arranging surf lessons to recommending great local restaurants. We were mainly in touch with Augustin, who took excellent care of us. Overall, we were delighted with our stay and can highly recommend this place.

I loved this location, less than 5 minute walk to the very beautiful beach. I loved waking up to the sounds of the birds. Th breakfast was okay.

At the bed and breakfast, all units come with bed linen and towels. Absolutely amazing place to stay! We were here for 12 nights. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable. There’s a basic outdoor gym right in the middle of the jungle. The pool was perfect for relaxing, and everything was well maintained. The hosts were simply fantastic – incredibly friendly, helpful, and always around if needed. We also really enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and BBQ area, which we used often. Free coffee all day was a great extra! Another highlight was the lookout tower on the property – perfect for taking in the beautiful surroundings. We would 100% stay here again – highly recommended!
