You just feel good talking to him. His recommendations (Taberna del Herrero restaurant is excellent) were spot on. Thank you team for creating such a cozy inviting place.

If you have the chance, make a stop here during your Camino or eat here if you're lucky enough to live in this area. I stayed and ate at La Terrazza restaurant while walking the Camino del Norte in July 2025. Not only is the accommodation superb and right on the Camino, but the owner and staff were exceptionally hospitable and friendly. The entire establishment is absolutely beautiful. And the dinner I had there was the best I've had since starting the Camino more than two weeks ago. If you have the chance, make this a stop on your Camino or have a meal here if you're lucky enough to live in this area.

Good food, nice staff and exceptional host. We stayed for 4nights as we were touring around Pico’s, free secured parking in the back for motorbikes and vans. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Carlos will go the the extra mile for help you with what you need and made feel welcome.

We liked very much the garden, breakfast and the very welcoming Emma and family. We could visit Altamira cave, Santander and many beautiful beaches nearby. It was a very pleasant stay, we would repeat if we come back to Cantabria.
