I discovered Kiki solely because I needed to stay close to the airport for a very early morning flight, and I'm so glad I did. I was there very shortly, but the vibe it gave me was a bit like a great hybrid between a hostel (people hanging out, easy to have conversations) and a 'serious' hotel, with very nice, very clean rooms. The bathroom was spacious, the bed very comfortable. There are enough closets and other storage to keep things organized (including closets in the bathroom and one for shoes). Two bedside tables with reading lamps and plugs close to the bed, a mini fridge...everything you need. It's in a quiet neighbourhood in a pedestrian only street, so very peaceful. There is a covered (wind and rain) patio with little tables and chairs outside where they serve breakfast in the morning and you can eat, drink, and hang out. Very kind staff who offered to make me a breakfast package for my early departure without me even asking, and also offered to order me a taxi, helped me with my luggage, and showed me the room. I also appreciated the coffee/tea self serve area, particularly helpful during said very early morning flight.

Boasting a terrace and views of sea, Tulum Airostel is a recently renovated guest house set in San Isidro, 10 km from Golf del Sur. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and full-day security, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Golf Las Americas is 18 km away and Siam Park is 19 km from the guest house. Excellent small hotel for a stopover night close to TFS. There are local buses to get from the airport to San Isidro bus station (basically the first stop). Buy the tkt on the bus from the driver, don't bother with the prepaid transport card that costs 2 euro plus you need to charge a minimum of 10 on it... only 10 minutes bus ride. from San Isidro bus stop go to the main road an walk uphill. The hotel is located about 20 mins. walking away uphill. For an early morning flight, the first bus is at 4.45am and gets to the airport around 5am. If you have to check-in bags and have to be there before 5am, no options but walk. It takes about 1h10min. on a side road as in the hills, check googlemaps. Not fun if you have bags but a super quiet walk at 3am, zero traffic. Taxis are unreliable for early mornings pick up and expensive too. Stay at Tulum if you can plan your trip back to the airport without stress. Really affordable and good accomodation. My room had bunk beds and bathroom in the corridor.

Set in Adeje, Boutique Villa Leicht & Friends has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. The property is around 16 km from Golf del Sur, 27 km from Los Gigantes and 3.5 km from Golf Las Americas. Some units at the property feature a balcony with a city view. We were more than than pleasantly surprised by the view, villa itself, apartman, everything. Villa is located on top of the hill above Costa Adeja, literally the last street so it gives you privacy and outstanding view over the city and ocean. Everyone respected the no noise rule after 10 pm, bed was really comfy so we slept well. TV has YT, Netflix (with your own password), HBO etc. There is no AC but really good vent, and you can open the window and leave it trough the night, as we did. In the kitchen you can find salt, peper, little coffee, two roles of toilet paper, sope and shower gel. You get clean towels every three days. I must say to Anna and owners - put better pictures online because it doesn't represent villa and view on it's best :)
