Nice period property being carefully and extensively modernised by Patrick and Christine. Exceptionally quiet this tranquil hamlet in the middle of the French countryside surrounded by Sunflower fields. Excellent breakfast with home produce fresh from the garden. Once we found the property there was nothing not to like. The room was incredibly spacious and the fixtures and fittings were of an incredibly good quality. My stay was only overnight, but it would be an excellent base. Unfortunately the weather meant no walks along the canal.

Even before arrivial, host was wiling to let us check in very late( due to ferry timings). Very grateful for that, although we managed to arrive earlier when boat was rescheduled. Location felt like entering a secret garden. Absolutely stunning accomodation, offered drinks on arrival, very welcoming host and arty decor. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend a stay here.
