Great cosy guest house in Bourton on the water. Our room had everything we needed with wardrobe space, a table, nice beds, tv and a bathroom with a great shower. Breakfast was good and the staff is very nice. Located a few minutes walk from the river and the town centre.

The charming village was voted 7th ‘most desirable in the country’ by Country Life Magazine. Guests can try fly-fishing on the River Coln, which is a 5-minute walk away, whilst Cirencester is a 10-minute drive away. The village of Bibury is just 5 minutes by car. The room was very beautiful, great attention to details. We were pleasantly surprised by the menu in the restaurant, very high class food, very delicious, including the breakfast a la carte. The staff was very friendly.

The Fox’s 4 luxury river mews rooms boast Cotswold stone walls and wooden beams, with traditional pub rooms also available. All rooms feature a TV, private bathroom and fishing rights for a private area of the river, with expert lessons also available. Everything. Very charming and the Owner or Manager was absolutely a gem and so helpful and hospitable.

In the Cotswold village of Frampton Mansell, The Crown Inn is a 17th-century ‘cider house’ with log fires, traditional home-cooked food, locally brewed real ales and good company!

The Crown Inn is a beautiful building dating from 1633. Surrounded by Gloucestershire countryside, you can enjoy excellent views across the Golden Valley. It is off the beaten track. I had a single bed room which was large, well furnished and very comfortable. Loved the fact you could see the stars at night with little light pollution. Fantastic evening meal and an excellent breakfast, the homemade baked beans were superb!

The location was excellent. Short walking distance into town with its many restaurants, bars & shops. We didn’t have a car and managed to either walk (we like to walk long distances) or bus to nearby towns. The guest house was lovely. The water pressure in the shower was excellent and bed (double size) and bedding very comfortable. Our hosts Wendy & Clive were so friendly and accommodating. Included breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. We were celebrating an anniversary while there and Wendy added a few surprise treats.

This recently renovated bed and breakfast is located 31 km from Cotswold Water Park and 48 km from Lydiard Park. The bed and breakfast features family rooms. Everything was amazing! The location, the decor, the mattress, the food, and the owners. It was the perfect place for a cozy night in the Cotswolds. We had a wonderful welcome and a delicious, homemade organic breakfast. We’ll definitely be back when we visit again!

I'll definitely come back once I come back to Stroud.

WE BOOKED THIS SO WE COULD GO TO THE FARMERS DOG PUB. IT WAS JUST DOWN THE ROAD. SADLY WE WERE THERE WHEN IT WAS REALLY TERRIBLE STORM BUT WE MADE IT, WE CAME BACK TO THE ROOM AS THE ROADS WERE SO BAD WIT TREES DOW. THE BOOKING CONSISTED OF A LOVELY SITTING ROOM A SMALL KITCHEN/LANDING AREA BEDROOM AND BATHROOM. WE WERE GREATED BY TE HOST WHEN WE ARRIVED AND THEY WERE REALLY FRIENDLY.

Great place to stay on the Cotswold Way - Kay was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed - great breakfast, and solid location only about 1/3 mile off of the Cotswold way if you are walking.
