Absolutely incredible and magical stay. I had high expectations for the Glen Coe Inn. They exceeded all of my expectations with their incredibly warm and welcoming staff, superb location and rooms, facilities/shared spaces, and restaurant and high-quality services. It was an absolute dream to spend Christmas there, truly a dream come true. I hope to come back again on holiday. We only stayed for one night but immediately wished we had booked at least two nights.

A warm, family welcome awaits at this traditional West Highland inn/small hotel. Beautifully situated beside Loch Linnhe, Inn at Ardgour is reached via a very short car-ferry trip across the water.

Located at the start of town as you hike into Fort William, so you can leave in your backpack [if you want] and go to the end of the West Highland Way without it, and then relax in town. The location is also good if you want to go the other way, for Ben Nevis.

Loved Janice’s place, we were comfortable and Janice was very helpful with local suggestions for places to eat. Room was a delight, the tartan carpet and overlooking the sea, beautiful. Bathroom was quirky with a bath and a shower head, so not your usual shower over the bath. Great location for everything we wanted to do in the area and a short walk to a delightful restaurant, we recommend it.

I had a room on the ground floor with direct access to the garden, in which I was on my own, on a beautiful day, so that was wonderful. From the garden there was a view of the river and mountains and a beautiful sunset. Check-in was quick and friendly and facilities were good. The room was comfortable and cozy, it was nice and quiet too. The food in the pub was very good en good value for money, definitely recommend.
