This is central Lancaster, yet it's in a quiet spot beneath the castle, and near the bus station. There's a bar/restaurant below with great food (including smashing breakfasts and enormous pies). The Gateway at Hest Bank is a great location, especially if you want to walk along the Foreshore or the Canal. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice. And quiet.
