The room was amazing, the bed super confortable, the bathroom also super nice. It's very well placed in the centre of Lancaster and the staff there is extremely nice and helpful!

It is more of a traditional bed and breakfast in a beautifully renovated home. David, the host, was very helpful in terms of communication and directions. He allowed us to check in early to fit in with our arrival by train. David lives in the home and he welcomes just a few guests at a time. In our case, one other guest, who had stayed previously. It was good to be able to interact with this guest, and our host. We were delighted with the excellent accommodation, which included a filling breakfast in the morning. To top it off David even cooked and packed us some extra pastries to take with us on our onward journey. He is a genuinely caring and helpful host. David shared suggestions on places to visit during our short stay. East Cliff is handy to the Preston railway station, as well the town centre, restaurants, shops, parks, etc. We definitely recommend East Cliff if you plan to visit Preston.

Beautiful countryside views from the rooms.

Lovely warm welcome , room was good size, clean amazing view, bed was very comfy, breakfast was amazing, and very good location for a wedding that we were attending!
