The staff were amiable, warm & helpful and the gardens are well-maintained. It is a perfect place to get away from the hustle of the city once you are inside Casa's doors. I will be visiting again.

I arrived into Guatemala quite late at night but the host was very helpful with my arrival. It was nice to have a hot shower, clean room & comfortable bed after my long journey. The area was quiet & I had a very good sleep. Breakfast and coffee was included & was very nice. The host helped me arrange a shuttle to Lake Atitlan for the next day :)

Set in Guatemala, the recently renovated Apartamentos "El Lago" provides accommodation 400 metres from National Palace Guatemala and 5.5 km from Popol Vuh Museum. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house offers city views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. The hostel is very well located, close to restaurants and shops as well as the city bus station. It also has very good facilities and cleanliness. I definitely recommend it.
