Lesbia and Julio are very warm and welcoming hosts. They made me feel like at home, we had nice conversations and it was a great pleasure to stay with them for some days. My room was huge with a big balcony directly above the water - very cool! The location is not in the Flores Island but in San Miguel - so if you search for a calmer non touristic area that's your choice! From Flores it is easy to arrive with a small boat in about 5 mins. Also recommended to book the tour to Tikal etc. and transports with them, they offer for a good price. And it is helpful to know some Spanish as their English is limited (but Julio is learning!) 😊 muchas gracias 🥰

Zapote Tree Inn ligt op minder dan 16 minuten van de luchthaven van Flores en op 4 minuten met de boot van het eiland Flores. The Guatemalan man who works there is incredible. I wish I had caught his name. He was so nice and helpful during our short stay there. A very peaceful hotel with views of the water and a lush garden. I didn't see any toucans but my partner saw one perched next to one of the rooms in the morning. We had the traditional dinner with eggs, fried plantains, beans, cheese, toast and fruit- it was delicious! We had the same for breakfast and it was the perfect meal to get us through Tikal. The prices for the room and the food was all reasonable. There is an extra charge to use AC but that's across the board in the area. Highly recommend!

XIMEL House ligt in Flores en biedt gratis WiFi. Kamers hebben een gedeelde badkamer, gratis toiletartikelen en beddengoed. Vliegveld Internationale luchthaven Mundo Maya ligt op 19 km afstand. Hilda and Elvis were very accomodating and helpful, and just lovely people in general. They picked us up late, and helped us organise our Tikal tour. The property is very clean and comfortable, and is in a safe area. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for yourself if you would like. The beds were very comfortable as well.

La Isla Bonita Residence heeft accommodatie in Flores. Er is een terras en je kunt er gebruik van maken gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Alle kamers bij het pension hebben een eigen badkamer. The house exceeded expectations immediately! Amazingly clean and almost brand new! Big spacious room with new amenities. The host was friendly and helped us with anything we needed.

Guest house Posada Ixchel is gelegen in El Remate, in een gebouw dat dateert uit 2000, op 34 km van Nationaal Park Tikal, en biedt kamers met gratis WiFi. Being greeted friendly, able to park our van inside and having the room very close to the van was great. Wifi works well (though not the fastest), ceiling fan and normal fan in the room were absolutely sufficient. The kitchen outside is great and has all you need. Your can walk out and find everything in less than a minute. Absolutely recommendable 👍
