This place has the comfort, cleanliness, facilities of a resort at the price of a homestay so shoutout to the owners, Andy and Esni! I ended up staying 2 additional nights because I liked it so much. Food was great. The hotel is solar powered (!) which also means that you get electricity 24h/day and they bring plastic back to Waisai instead of burning it which also means no smell of burnt plastic here - these are exceptional things for Raja Ampat. The jetty is great and you can see so much from there at night. And finally I cannot highlight how clean the place is and not a single cockroach or rat to be seen around the rooms/restaurants. Beautiful snorkeling on the house reef.

Paparisa is a brand new, small, private and secluded homestay with the nicest houses in Kri Island by far (compared to all the other homestays). The place has five "resort level" cosy houses with ensuite semi-open air bathroom (rare in Raja Ampat), big nice comfortable beds with mosquito net, a small private terrace in each house to relax or to watch the sunset and a small restaurant to enjoy your meals (they are building a nice sunset view big restaurant which they said will be ready by September 2025). They provide towels, toilet paper and linen so no need to bring yours. They have some toiletries but better bring some extra shampoo and shower gel for your convenience. Electricity is available almost half of the day and it is more than enough to charge anything in your room! The sea is just three meters from your door so you can easily swim whenever you want. This is also very convenient for diving or excursion's pickups as the boats pick you up straight from your door to go for diving or for a trip! Also, in walking distance you can snorkel in very amazing home reefs on your own. Paparisa rents for a small amount of money snorkeling equipment and these guys can also arrange several snorkeling trips to anywhere in the area. They also have contacts around so don't hesitate to ask them for anything you need! The communication before arrival through WhatsApp was exceptional and they have helped us a lot with our planning (the boat from Waisai to Kri arranged by them and a lot more). The food in the place is very tasty and feels like home and they are willing to cater any special dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan etc).

This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Guests can make use of a garden. The homestay owner contactes us prior to our arrival to check if we were finding our way (they also offered a taxi pick-up at the harbour) and welcomed us with open arms. The homestay has a nice small garden where we had breakfast. The owners also helped us to arrange our taxi next morning

Buffet and à la carte breakfast options with warm dishes, local specialities and pancakes are available. The owners were extremely helpful with organizing trips, answering questions, giving advice on places to stay. The breakfasts were always delicious and varied. They were very knowledgable about the region and were well connected. They arrainged a good scooter at a fair price. A great first landing spot off of the ferry from Sorong. I have already booked my second stay when back from the outer islands to prepare for the return ferry trip. International travelers will be happy here.

The guest house provides mountain views, an outdoor fireplace and a 24-hour front desk. Location was amazing, the awesome doggies, the puppy so cute.. the outdoor shower is also great and even have free soap and shampoo 👌👌 food is decent portion and served in a timely manner.. they even sang at night on the sunset deck

Facing the seafront in Kri, Gibran divers guest house has a private beach area and a garden. The property features sea and mountain views. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gibran guesthouse located in Kri island. The ocean view rooms are just above water and you can just junp into the ocean from your porch ready to snorkel. The room and the common areas were clean The toilet is outside the room. The food is good and quantities are enough. They told us that in July they wikk do some renovation work in the rooms. The service was perfect and we did a couple of excursions with the team. They were very attentive with my 73 years old father. We recommend this Guesthouse. Thank you very much.

Value for money homestay perfect for divers. Located just outside the centre of Waisai, with a rental scooter you can quickly reach your chosen dive centre and local restaurants etc. Wawan the owner is efficient and friendly, so if you don’t ride a bike, he will sort your transportation for a good price. Breakfast is fine (omelette, toast, fruit), served by Cino who cleans the rooms etc, and is usually on hand to deal with any problems you might have.

The guest house has a steam room, sun terrace and outdoor fireplace, and guests can grab a bite to eat in the restaurant. This is a ocean front property with sunset views! The best is large and comfy. The family are absolutely lovely and will do anything to help you! The food is delicious and so fresh. We did a snorkelling trip with the family to an incredible reef and sand bar. Highly recommend!
