She gave us many helpful informations and advices and answered all of our questions.

Michael was a great host very warm, welcoming, kind and put me and my 2 kids (5, 7 year old) at ease felt like we were staying with a good friend or family. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and we had all the facilities we could want. We will all definitely stay again when we return to complete our climb up Croagh Patrick. Located in Ballyhaunis, in a historic building, 11 km from Knock Shrine, 'James Lyons' The old main St is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a garden and terrace. The host is the most hardworking man I've ever met, very polite, cares about his guests, always comes around to make sure his guests are good, always available, gives you all the information, help and support you need. Very focused, organised, hardworking with a smile on his face. You need anything? He's a call away. The hotel has everything to make you feel at home...away from home and that includes a surveillance camera to keep the property secure and make the guests feel safe. The hotel is adjacent to the Bus stop, a stone throw to the train station, and few minutes walk to basic amenities like supermarkets, pharmacy, eatery, you name it. The hotel is perfectly located at the heart of the Town. If you are visiting Ireland, ditch the big cities, start with Ballyhaunis and check into JAMES LYONS B&B, you will thank me later. Lovely bedroom and bathroom with tea and coffee making facilities, including wagon wheels and other biscuits, our host made a fabulous breakfast which included a full cooked breakfast, toast and jam/marmalade ( cereals were also available)
