All units have a private bathroom, a hair dryer and bed linen. The best nights sleep of our trip. The bed is so comfortable that I didn't want to leave!

All rooms are fitted with a desk, wardrobe, flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. The room is very nicely decorated. The bathroom is really nice, good quality shower. Tea and coffee making facilities are great too.

The hotel has private parking, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and check in was very smooth. We had three in our room; parents and one teenager. We were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served at your table by very professional staff. The room was amazing with a spectacular view of the perfectly groomed garden and Kilkenny Castle. The location made it easy to see all of the main sites within the townsite and is close to many great pubs and restaurants. A river walk is minutes away and there are plenty of quality shops. Highly recommend fish and chips at Matt the Millar's, just down the hill.

Located just off the M7 motorway, the Silken Thomas Accommodation Accommodation is less than a 10 minute walk from Kildare Village Chic Outlet Shopping and 15 minutes from the Irish National Stud. Whitewater Shopping Centre, the Curragh Racecourse and Newbridge Silverware are less than a 10 minute drive away. Very clean and cozy rooms, and the food is among the best I have tried in all locations i ate during my stay.

The Dining Room serves traditional and continental breakfasts, which feature homemade chutneys, banana bread and scones. Afternoon tea can be taken in the elegant Drawing Room. Great location, very close to a train station and also only 20 minutes walk to the city center. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was good and the staff very friendly.

This family-run guest house has rooms with good-quality beds, mattress hygiene care and tea/coffee making facilities. There is also a comfortable sitting room for guests to relax in. I don't have enough adjectives to describe the place which was beyond my expectations for the guest house. It was the only time I wanted to rate the place positively before I left it. I mostly had interaction with Louis and Martina and brief talk with the owner the next morning of my arrival. The warmth and the welcomeness I received was incredible. Even though the property states the check in should be between 2-7 PM I arrived later and was greeted by Louis who not only explained to me about the city but also made me some tea with biscuits. I got really big room which Martina would clean so nicely everyday and change my coffee and tea. It was a very beautiful and clean room and I enjoyed it so much I did not want to leave it. What I really appreciated about the location is that it was not too close to the centre and after a long day of walking and interacting with people it was nice to have some quite time to yourself and because it is a big house there are not so many visitors so it always felt like I am coming back home after a hard day. It is close to all the facilities you need- direct busses to city centre and the airport (!), Tesco and a small market to buy some grocery food if you need, really good cafe that serves the best toasties and breakfast for a reasonable price (Happy Out) and some more if you like. In overall I recommend the place for solo travellers (especially who are a bit introverts like myself) and couples who want a nice get a way for the weekend.

Absolutely stunning, cosy welcoming house, lovingly decorated to a very high standard. We stayed in "Shergar" and it was a beautiful room with an extremely comfortable bed which truth be told we were loathe to leave, The bathroom was lovely and spacious with a great shower. We only stayed for one night but would be delighted to return again.
