Francesco was incredibly kind and hospitable - he also made us dinner reservations and we loved his recommendations. Breakfast was great too. Very close to the Sassis, central square and lots of restaurants nearby. Our room and bathroom were very neat and cozy. We had a lovely stay in Vicolo fiore Affittacamere ☺️☺️

La Casa di Ele was a complete surprise. The room where we stayed for two nights was outstanding and brand new. Actually, it was more a small private house than a room, with two adjacent living rooms, two bathrooms, one of them behind the bed very large and futuristic with several sources of water and including changing lights. The room is typical of Matera, almost with no windows. The door is right in one of Matera streets so you immediately walk into the amazing site of Matera. This room is outside the main building where the other guest are and where breakfast is served. The breakfast is very good. All the staff very helpful and educated. The property belongs to a family, several of the member manage it.
